If governments originally ruled by the sword, but then had their power usurped by banks (as the federal reserve act subdued and conquered the US federal government, enslaving it and and the people by loaning brouzouf at interest, thus making it impossible to ever be sovereign. A blatant example about this are the federal reserve trials where they made it clear they don't answer to the US government) then isn't the next big coup an internet based one? We seem to not only collectively agree that brouzouf has value, but now also agree to a completely digital currency. So whoever controls the digital avenues can start/stop/influence digital commerce (which is a large percentage of modern 1st world commerce, especially anything trans-national) and thus wield power over the banks eventually. It would start with the merging of major ISP's with major intel hubs, say Comcast and Google, and after more and more corporate mergers (all enabled through a few contrived dips in the market, which is a historically standard effort to consolidate power) eventually this new internet megacorp would not only control access to the web but also, who can engage in commerce. They already gather data on everyone, and catalog this, also attaching a "risk matrix" score and other metrics to people. They hire and fire based on this data. Banks already routinely have to report any "unusual activity" in the form of more that $5k entering an account/month, even if a bank has nothing to report, for years now they are still required to report a quota of customers for review per month. As quick as facebook or paypal can ban you, so could these internet megacorps subdue banks. Then, if AI grows beyond its current form, which it probably will, things will really start to get fucky. IIRC a few months back someone was fired from their company by an AI mistake and they had no way of stopping it. They just had to let that go through and rehire the person.

This got a ranty, hope i've articulated the basic premise of the idea.

Yes, it started 13 years ago.

>This got a ranty, hope i've articulated the basic premise of the idea.

Not for me, sorry OP, I mean, I get what you're saying, I've been following current events for the last decade, but I'm guessing there's more to what you're saying than what I'm picking up.

The public facing stuff is important, but you need to focus on what the more boring internet companies are doing, the ones nobody visits and you never hear talked about by normies, like AWS, Cloudflare, Level 3, Azure etc.

Consolidation by those companies dictates who can access and contribute to the internet. They're the ones who either have or threatened to remove the likes of Gab or Stormfront from the web entirely.
