So, I'm in Canada, and have been saving up to get myself some girlmode and androgynous clothing for both just in my room and in private as well as that I can go out in and confuse people about whether I'm male or female. I went out and got a $150 CAD prepaid card today — no bank account, whoops — and had a whole bunch of stuff picked out for cyber Monday.
It turns out Canada Post has been on strike for a while and shipments are expected to take months.
So, I have a hundred and fifty dollars on a card and am turning blindly to Canadian sites and Canadian Amazon. I'll post up some pictures of what I had picked out, some of it was seriously cute and I'm so sad I can't get my hands on it now, but I'm wondering if we can't come together and make some good recommendations? This is for me right now, but I'm sure we need a fashion thread and I'd love to talk about how clothing presentation can make or break your aesthetic, especially in terms of looking adorable or get you confused for female but not gay or in drag. I could post pictures of some of the best clothing choices I've got on hand right now! I get confused for a girl pretty regularly but don't get called a guy in women's clothing ever, I try to specialize in the soft androgynous stuff because I can't rock croptops or whatnot quite yet.
But first what I'd picked out already and am gonna miss. It was all from some ultra-cheap Chinese place but it was so "me" and so cute that I was halfway expecting it to feel like garbage and made up my mind that that'd be okay for the price. I might order just the hat because I'm sure I can't get that one elsewhere even if I only get it in like February…
