is it fairly normal and accepted to go to a store and buy one of those gift cards that is essentially a real credit card with a real number that you just throw away when it runs out of money, and then use that to buy adult toys online and have them shipped to your house? does that usually work out, or are there serious issues with it?

other questions:

>how do you know it's clean pure body safe silicone?

>how do you know that a phalic toy isn't going to be too big/ too small just based from a picture that doesn't even have a reference object next to it like a soda can to tell the difference?

>what is the right way to do this legally, and discreetly without pissing anyone off and getting in trouble?

>is there anything illegal about this in any way that I'm being retarded about and completely overlooking? if so, I rather just not do anything at all. I don't want to break the law in any way.

>are hand held fappers of any kind even remotely worth it? I heard they are a pain to clean and only good for a few uses, even the best and most expensive ones. I also heard they are impossible to properly clean and can give a person a bad infection. Not fun.

>any adult toy websites that should seriously be avoided for some reason?

Gonna assume you're American from the flag you are posting under. You can use a gift credit card or an actual credit card. If you have your own credit card it's likely you are old enough that nobody that matters (to you) is going to peer into your buy records.

Some websites can ship to a PO box, especially domestic companies. Some websites also ship with minimal/discreet packaging to lower suspicion. Bad Dragon, for example, does all of the above, but they don't ship to PO boxes outside of the US.

>How do you know if it's clean/safe

If a site has customer reviews or FAQ on toy quality, good to read. A lot of this boils down to your best judgment and common sense. If you still wind up concerned with what you bought, put a rubber on it.

>size

Again, best discretion. Try not to let your eyes get bigger than your ass.

>how do I do this legally

It is not illegal to buy sex toys in the United States or most civilized nations. Actual no fun countries like Morocco have forbidden sale of these items. Personal research would be required if you really want something of that nature in such a country.

>legal oversights

Canada has some weird laws over what constitutes CP. If you are buying something with or like a depiction of someone underage they may block the item from arriving or impose charges on you. These instances are rare but if you think it could be a problem then it's probably best you don't buy it.

>onaholes

As far as selections, there are entire communities dedicated to these things. Take care of your toys. Guides exist on good toy care. If you don't take proper care of them whatever infection you incur is your own fault.

>websites to avoid

None in particular but I don't care for Doc Johnson toys. They don't have a very comfortable shape.

Once you buy a prepaid credit card, or any gift card, they couldn't care less what you use to buy with them. They're legal tender and so can be used like any other credit card, including buying things online.

>how do you know it's clean pure body safe silicone?

If you go with a big and reputable seller, it will be fine. For everything else, just remember the golden rule: if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. A good dildo made of quality silicone is going to cost you at least $80-100. If someone's selling one for like $50, most likely you'll be getting an inferior product.

>how do you know that a phalic toy isn't going to be too big/ too small just based from a picture

Most of the time they will have measurements for the toy listed. You can draw it out on a piece of paper, or just on your computer screen at the same size, to get a better idea. If you really have no idea what's a good size for you, just get one about the size of an average human dick (something like 6.5" long and 6" around) and it'll probably be fine.

>are hand held fappers of any kind even remotely worth it?

Not in my opinion. Everything you said about them is basically true; they are meant to be disposable and so don't really need to be cleaned. If you want something that will last and is made to be easier for cleaning, there are any number of "penetrables" available at many sites; fleshlights are relatively cheap and I've found them to be of safe quality and sufficiently durable.

>6'' around and it'll probably be fine.

>probably be fine.

Six inches around. AROUND. Haven't you taken geometry yet? Divide by pi to get the diameter: ~1.9" It's perfectly average, or at the most on the high end of average.
