Hey /cuteboys/, you're all pretty knowledgeable about how to be cute, so why not have a cute fashion thread? Request and suggest here!
I'm personally not very bold with clothing, so I need some suggestions for cute androgynous clothing so I can be as cute and feminine as possible without full out crossdressing.

Mens shoulders are very broad usually, so you need to distract from that by making your waist appear wider than it is. For example, a dress that's narrow at the chest area but gets wider lower down. I dunno how you'd accomplish that effect with boys clothes though, but pushing your chest forward and your shoulders back can make your form look a lot more feminine.

I guarantee you I'd be able to make out the stockings and I'd bully you.
Pink is also pushing it, but that sweater would definitely look cute in another light or pastel color.
Baggy pastel sweater + slim fit pants + some thick rimmed glasses + medium length mussed hair = as adorable as you can look without looking like a tranny or a mincing faggot.
No.242067

How does pic related fare? Pink is one of my better colors honestly, but looking at it now the combo with it being women's clothing might be too much.
Also included a baggy sweater, which is kinda my aim but also too baggy looks too girly so idk.
Stockings I could live without in public, depending on the kind of bullying we're talking here. But real talk, I don't imagine I'd wear them in public, if I did no one would see them.

My clothing style is influenced by the 70's rocker style, thus pretty androgynous. Kinda like The Runaways.
I especially like flaired pants, because they make the overall body shape a bit curvier, and I think they make your feet look a bit smaller (yeah' I'm a bit self-concious about that…).
I buy most clothes in the womens section, but not the most feminine like skirts, dresses, pink, lace, etc. Stuff like flared stretchy pants, metal/punk t-shirts in womens style, classic sneakers. When it's colder I like knitted turtleneck shirts.

Probably earning a shitstorm for this, but overalls are one of the cutest boy's fashion peices for me. I like the modern as well as the vintage / traditional style. Short or long, bib up or down, you can style a lot with them. You can either go for the "good boy" look or use a more modern, styled version. Or you can go full girly style and wear them realyl short (IF you are slim and have the legs for it ^_-)
Also, uniforms of all kind can look extremely fashionable and are suited for cuteboys!
Well, many are probably going to disagree on this, but it's a matter of taste. For me it's one of the cutest outfits possible.

If you want to start dressing more feminine but not all the way wear dyke clothes. I wear girls jeans (legs too skinny for boys skinny jeans), and slim plaid shirts OR baggy t-shirts + leggings if you want to lean more on the feminine side. The baggy part is so your dong doesn't show all the time, but you can account for this by wearing short shorts on top but at that point you've gone feminine all the way.

Tasteful amounts though, like the occasional jacket and plain-looking pants to keep it simple and not be fully camo'd out head-to-toe. But I do know New York is a pretty tolerant place now, and that the crime rate is lower than ever, so I think that if you aren't afraid of being mugged you probably needn't be too afraid of crossdressing. Naw, just walking with straight back, chin forward and if someone stares for more than three seconds start walking at them with a really serious scowl (they always fuck right off).
For reference, I have never had serious issues. Lots of pervs and sometimes someone says like "A dress dude? Seriously?", but I guess the trick is not to back down and to confront people like that. Never anything close to violence has happened tho.

I mean, I live two blocks from the Lorimer Homes (project towers) in Bed-Stuy, there's lots of syringes on my street kinda place. I can't speak to South Bronx, but I'll tell you I was just barely shy of actually pissing myself I was so scared, I wore a huge winter jacket in like early summer for days, but by just not letting myself dress "guyish" again, eventually you have to get back to living your life and after a while you just don't even think about it.

Photo is me at the bar at work (there's a bar in the office!), have normal laughs with normal people. Work was one of the biggest surprises, because while I knew nobody could say anything outright shitty there, I figured people would still give weird looks or treat me differently. Anyway, congrats to you on being a free human being who doesn't place too much weight on what others think and instead just tries to be themselves.
I'm trans as well and I'm moving to Berlin of all places in a few weeks, literally the queerest of all cities, and I still can't find the courage to be myself. It's sad.
My mind is super androgynous and I can't really stop it from showing on the outside. Which leads a lot of people to assume I'm gay, which I'm not sure how to feel about. I don't like it.
I'm not even really sure what my sexuality is. I can't say for sure. Relationshipswise I want to be with a girl but maybe an androgynous guy might be OK.

Meow! Geez, that's so nice.
I actually don't really consider myself trans, just a cuteboy who likes cross dressing, but that doesn't have federal protections so I have just called myself trans at work and stuff.
The major thing is going to be hunting out where the gay watering holes, then narrow down that list to the ones for people just trying to hang out (instead of the really intense fuckzones some gay bars are). Then just hang out there a lot. Even if you don't have plans, just get like one beer and hang out. It's a great way to meet people, and really meeting other people who are doing this kind of stuff is the best inspiration.
>>292779
Like in the street or with friends and family? That's really awful (and really weird) if people in the street bother you about being too "boyish". If it's friends and family, then I hate to say it but you do need to start to curate how much time you give people who don't have respect for you.
Also also, South Bronx is probably a tough spot to do stuff like this. If you like, come down to Bushwick and we'll hang with all the cute boys (I've actually met a ton around, and there's also a bar called Happyfun Hideaway that I love where crossdressing is totally not even notable)

On the street. I've been called things, especially because of my hair as well. It's longer than yours and really curly. Family hates my hair as well. Hoodies, casual dress shirts, long-sleeves, and dresses are among my favourite attires. Usually coupled with a pair of skinny girl jeans, or a pair of either beige or red chinos. Been wearing a lot more girl clothes in general lately though.
Casual dress shirts can actually look surprisingly feminine on the right guy coupled with a nice pair of skinny girl jeans. Just need it to fit properly. Don't have any pictures of it specifically sadly.

God don't. Yesstyle is known for making clothes that only good look on a very specific build (slender, small asian build), and even then it's only because they use needles, etc. to style it properly.
I bought a jacket from them like 8 years ago back when I was 14. It looked nothing as advertised. I HIGHLY recommend for all /cuteboys/ to stay as far away from that brand as possible.

In my case it's due to living at my parents, my boyfriend, and because I actually get money just for attending school back home in Sweden. Had a couple summer jobs growing up here and there as well although that's not really applicable anymore.
It's honestly not hard to afford clothes if you live at home and your family is middle class or higher.

YesStyle isn't a bad website. For what it is, it's very reasonable. Sites like these don't actually MAKE any of the stuff that they sell. Everything on there is from other brands/manufacturers. If you buy anything off of these resell sites, look up reviews and compare across sites. There is some seriously decent stuff if you know where to look. Just remember that you get what you pay for.
I got all of this stuff off of YesStyle and I'm pretty impressed considering the price. Seriously, just keep your head about you before you dismiss a entire website.

I have 24 inch waist. I tried. Looks kind of weird because it's cut for girl legs and is meant to stick to the flesh. I mostly wear smallest men's size (28 or 27) and extra skinny ons. It fits "just right". For waist, I wear a belt.
I've had a "good looking" woman's jeans. It was extra skinny. I couldn't wear it outside.

update on this post:
went to the mall today, tried on a bunch of jeans from a bunch of stores. nothing fit, everything looked baggy and gross. Ended up buying some new shirts, and going home.
pic related is a pair of jeans I own, they're men's, 26 waist and they fit okay, still a bit big though. They fit on me because they're incredibly tight, and I don't like wearing them because of how small my legs are compared to my feet/my body. I have a size 9.5 shoe but they look like clown shoes

The thing is though I don't have boobs, and while I'm pretty skinny by guy standards I'm sort of average for girls and I don't want all this empty wasted material.

honestly, that pic just demonstrates to me that people just cannot figure out how to wear their shit the way its meant to be worn. Some of those clothes do look like they're just shit quality/design, but like that guy on the bottom left just ordered too small of a coat, or needs to tuck his shirt in and zip up the jacket like in the fucking picture. There is no excuse for that jacket on the middle-right though, that's just design failure. But even that white neck-hoodie thing on the left doesn't seem that bad.
