I don't really have any stories of note. I was more of a bystander in two group chats than an active participant so I never talked to him privately, but here's the most noteworthy things:
> Always acted like he was in the right, had a bad habit of making everything about himself
> Would try to strong arm people into arguments when they said something he didn't like or agree with, but most people would back down really easy since the majority of them were spineless pushovers. If anyone did try to push back, he'd say something like "I'm not going to argue about this" or "You aren't showing me respect, so this conversation is over". He still says shit like that in his rant videos on youtube, mind you.
> Was overly friendly with people he liked and openly hostile to the people he didn't, and I was told he talked shit in private chat without being warranted
> Prone to ranting without provocation about stupid shit no one cared about. Would actively ignore conversations already happening and to start writing paragraphs of pointless bullshit about stuff in his life like traffic, work, a lot of "Oh it's so hard to be an adult you kids enjoy yourself while you can" kind of shit because he had this weird fixation on being "group dad"
He was more or less just an asshole who postured as a tough. Not particularly funny, save for this story.
> Group chat
> Someone asks why he does what he does
> He gives some stupid novel length response about his passion for horror videos and how he loves Crepeypasta it's inspired him etc. etc.
> The person who asked says something along the lines of "Yeah but how do you find time in between work and family, don't you have kids to take care of"
> Murphy takes this not as a legitimate question but a stab at his parenting skills and FLIES into a TIRADE laced with profanity and sporadic ALL CAPS to EMPHASIZE how PISSED he is
> The person apologizes and tries to drop it
> Murphy says "Yeah you better be and don't you EVER bring up my family again OR YOU'LL REGRET IT", something like that, before capping it off with how he's the best father in the world and his son loves him to death and shit like that
The guy was volatile but that was the only time I remember him going that far, since the guy who provoked it didn't try to push it any. Really, I think he makes videos and continues to force himself into that community because it gives him a huge ego bust and he can bully his way around a bunch of emotionally fragile kids who look up to him as some sort of surrogate father figure.
