Nintendo put out some sweet consoles. The Gamecube was really a decent piece of equipment, and the only reason why people didn't buy it over PS2 or XBox was because it couldn't play DVD's. Nintendo are just backwards thinking and don't know how to break new ground. Example: the Wii would've been great for FPS but since Nintendo views itself as 'Family Computer' still, they try to avoid having 'violence' on their platforms even though Zelda and Mario are filled with constant death. The company is eternal in their Mortal Kombat no-blood, no-gore mindset.
