I've been perusing some of the Columbine forums and they seem to be split into two camps: fangirls and spergs.

The fangirls post gifs of the shooters smoking cigarettes, refer to them by their gaming nicknames, write poetry about their spiritual connections to them, etc.

The spergs comb over and seemingly memorize every minute trivial detail of what happened. Here's an example of a sperg post:

Well if he did it on purpose then yes. More importantly is who he shot first and why he let certain individuals go. We don't really have great profiles on most of these shooters. Especially the ones who killed themselves before they could be questioned. We don't fully understand why certain people do these things when others who match the profile have absolutely no intention, even given access to firearms. Which let's admit that we all have in America.

If we aren't going to restrict access to firearms the least we can do is try to get psychological help for those at risk of becoming shooters and the shrinks can't help them without knowing how they tick.
