Also the way the stories played out were pretty wacky, not really focused on the perspective of adults.

It also bothered the hell out of me that the pilot episode climaxes with the hot-air balloons exploding like latex balloons, despite this being physically impossible. I've been to Albuquerque and there's not a single saguaro cactus in sight. The festival is in a gigantic grassy field too.

I wish the show had more hand-drawn animation at the beginning because the janky, animatronic-like way the characters moved was distracting. Great concept, though.
