I remember hating her when I was a kid and the Clone Wars series was going through its first season. I fell out of the show very early on, either because I somehow lost interest, or Cartoon Network was treating its airtime like shit, like they were doing with all their action shows. But I digress. I found her to be an annoying waste of space, and figured it would be better if she was never there to begin with. But years later, way after I fell out of the show, I kept hearing from people how awesome of a character she is, and naturally, this baffled me, considering my experiences with watching her. After sharing my thoughts on her from my limited experience and asking how she could possibly be likable, those very people would agree with me that she did have quite a rocky start, but her character development in the later seasons more than made up for it, and that her arc in the series ended with her being expelled from the Jedi Order for a crime she didn't commit. This helped me understand the value behind her from the perspective of those who actually watched the whole series… which I still have yet to do, by the way. I know it's on Netflix, but I never have the time or motivation to get around to it.

She was the LEAST bad thing about CGI Clone Wars. What Lucas and co did to established characters such as Ventress and Maul, the absolute destruction of General Grievous, the ASSRAPING of the Mandalorians.

Ahsoka Tano as Anakin Skywalker's temporary Padawan was the least shitty, least lore breaking thing about the entire series. And straight up, the only thing I liked about Ventress in CGI Clone Wars was the episode were she stealthed around and planted mines and shit. Immediately ruined by the scene where Yoda cockslapping her and letting her go.
I'm still waiting for someone to commision up an alternate ending to toon Clone Wars of the Anakin Ventress fight, where he pins her down and rapes her, starting with the ass, then the mouth, then the pussy and knocking her up. Then picking her up with his flesh arm, and knocking her the fuck out with the mechanical arm and leaving her there to wake up hourss later, after sunset, missing a hand, both lightsabers broken, clothes shredded, and just limping onwards.

She was kinda cringe at first. Then ends up being a far better plot motivator for Anakin turning to the dark side than Padme or Shmee. Seriously, if Star Wars was ever re-imagined, they should just scrap the Padme love angle and make Ahsoka a human and be the primary love interest/catalyst for Anakin betraying the Jedi. Unlike Padme, she's constantly at Anakin's side and develops and has a believable real relationship with Anakin. Her age paring with Anakin even makes more sense since she is a Padawan coming of age to almost a Jedi Knight. Padme always looked way to old due to the Phantom Menace casting of that kid.
Padme only made sense as being a view point source for political changes in the Republic/Empire and seeding the eventual Rebel Alliance. The only reason anyone thought she was a love interest because Portman was a hot loli in the Professional.

I have almost nothing but praise for the Clone Wars cartoon, but that Dathomir arc and everything involved in it just makes my blood boil, it is the most meaningless, ham-fisted, reckless example of a retcon I care to remember.
There's a lot of bad writing that gets a pass because, frankly, not everything can be great, but that arc, everything that did to two entire species, to Maul and Ventress' backstories, to Palpatine, someone had to be trying really damn hard to write something that awful.

The Revenge of the Sith game is pretty good. Grievous is just as badass as the Genndy version, he does all the same moves.
Anakin has some interesting interactions with mace windu and actually fights the jedi instead of slaughtering toddlers while the clones shoot them.
Also, some of the added dialogue between Obi-wan and Anakin in the final fight is genuinely sad.
