On one hand, Zim had some legitimately good episodes that did the whole dystopic human race thing right, and played up the stranger in a strange land stuff from Zim in the right ways.
On the other hand, it's pseudo random humor and affinity for propping up the stupid set the stage for a slew of horrible cartoons to follow.
Hopefully, we see a balance of what made Invader Zim enjoyable without seeing one element hyper inflated. What I expect will happen is that the stupid shit and "quirky" humor will get dialed up from 11 to 13 and throw the whole mix off of its game.
Just having invader Dib played right is all I ask, personally.
