AFAIK I heard it has been approved for another series of shorts and an 11-minute pilot.
According to the author Black Hat runs a villain consulting company and has to carry his burdens in to become successful, this burdens being physically represented by the non-evil Experiment 5.0.5, the wimpy Dr. Flug and the chaotic Demencia all of them preventing him at some degree to achieve something. His other intention is to backtrack on the cliche that the leader is the incompetent one and having to be helped by his henchmen, Black Hat is unapologetically evil and smart.
Personally, I would love if the series turns out to be a short one when eventually BH gets sick and tired of the other ones bullshit and one by one gets rid of them.

I really liked her character and how it remained consistently evil all the way trough.
In fact I loved all the characterization in the series, it was pretty subtle character development where needed without giving "le epic character important episode". It managed be both a classic and modern toon quite well, I'm sad it went without much noise but probably that was for the better.
