It's the end of the year /co/, and with that end comes another year of almost complete shit when it comes to cartoons, but we all remember a time when cartoons were better than this, and a time when even decades old cartoons were once new, so in the spirit of new year's eve, we're gonna think back to those days and remember. What's your favorite pre 2010's cartoon, and what hopes (if any) do you have for the next year or decade when it comes to animation?

Beating a dead horse here (and being hopelessly naive), but I hope different artstyles make a comeback. Harder to animate or not, creators should understand that a unique style will make your cartoon stand out from the rest, making it easier to grab an audience's attention.

>hopes for western animation
I think the stuff I liked watching the most was Foster's, KnD, EEnE, El Tigre, Avatar TLA, Jimmy Neutron, Camp Lazlo, and Grim Adventures.

The future of western animation lay not in existing production companies, but independant retards on the internet.
