Waid started a go fund me? That’s kind of funny since he’s been a top guy at marvel for like 20 years. You’d think a big name like him would have enough funds set up or have marvel swinging the bat for his legal fees. Guess they know better than to waste money on a forgone conclusion

It might be time for a Meyer story time, seeing as he has titles going back to at least 2009, https://archive.fo/0mE3U. Also funny, it wasn't until he started talking about meritocracy, and making fun of everyone, including male nipples, was he an evil nazi bigot. And that the white supremacist Meyer was promoting, and working with obviously hispanic guys. without getting into his oft cited minority kids

>>1034285

If you wanted a border crime story, Iron Sights looked alright, though the upcoming Rambo movie looks better. Jawbreakers had decent art by Malin but nothing to write home about. It also looked like a weak Suicide Squad/Thunderbolts story, but seeing still better then what Marvel is releasing that isn't Venom or Mr. and Mrs. X. And the scans of the initial Jawbreakers titles that were being redone for his indie go go make Jawbreakers look so bad, that it gives flashbacks to ONE's initial One-Punch Man run.

Are we going to have to get into Richie's actions up him getting dropped by Antarctic again?

>D&C is now filing a lawsuit in federal court for business interference

It's a civil suit filed in Texas. Waid's attorney Mark Zaid filed a motion to dismiss based on lack of personal jurisdiction three days ago.

>Mark Waid starts up a gofundme to steal money from his followers for 'legal fees'

<Richie does the exact same thing and asked for 20,000 dollars more than Waid did

Somebody's gotta keep track of this shit and keep fags in check.

Also, it was discovered that Richie had briefly closed his twitter to purge 18,000+ tweets from his account between October 12th through the 22nd. It's currently assumed he did so to prevent his tweets being used as evidence against him in the upcoming trial.

Considering Meyer has put up an awful lot of bullshit that would actually lead to an accurate dox, don't blame him. Shit like his honorable discharge papers, his papers showing ahead of child support, his timeline getting custody of Zackson, his constant pics of Luna, and current residence. And that his current post office was doxxed in his name.

But seeing as Zaid/Waid have proved their incompetance, and outright perjury in their dismissal, keep crying faggot.

>Mr. Waid had no knowledge that Antarctic Press had any operations in or

connection to Texas; Mr. Waid did not know where Antarctic Press was located(having retrieved only a phone number from industry contacts), and Mr. Waid did not and does not know where the person with whom he spoke lived, whether in Texas or

elsewhere.

<whereever there was the statement about not making statements about Meyer while in Texas

Much like last time, you failed to read the documents in question. And go "lol, patent lawyer" just ignore anything he posts. Where even Zaid sucked up his massive ego, and asked Rackets where he got the transcript. Hint, it's from a podcast, highlighting Comicpalooza 2018 and Mark Waid, "Texas' Largest Entertainment & Pop Culture Event".

But the wonderful thing about this lawsuit, just need to wait to see how Meyer's team responds, because that's what they're being paid to do, call out this type of shit. And the perjury is just fun, because his personal jurisdiction argument would have fallen apart without it.

>Much like last time, you failed to read the documents in question.

No, I read it. I'm wondering if you did because the document presented states that Waid didn't know that Meyer was based in Texas. It also argues that even if Waid knew that Meyer was based in Texas, it still wouldn't establish personal jurisdiction.

The whole thing is on pages 14 and 15 of the motion, Nick.

You should read it again.

<still doesn't recognize contradictory statements by Waid concerning his knowledge on AP, its owner, the content of owner's character

<or Waid's literal business dealings in Texas

<that half of the entire personal jurisdiction has to do with having no knowledge, with quotes above, about AP's business, that he didn't know where he was calling or receiving a call

<not just Meyer

I posted quotes from page 3, and page 5 of the motion to dismiss. Faggot.

 No.1034449

>>1034442

Pay attention to the wording, friendo

>Mr. Waid had no knowledge that Antarctic Press had any operations in or connection to Texas;

The interview in question occurred two weeks after the event. You need evidence that Waid knew prior to his call, not afterwords.

The business dealings Waid would potentially have in Texas would be being invited to conventions as a guest, but even then it's dubious if that qualifies as "continuous and systematic to render [defendant] 'at home' in forum State".

 No.1034480

>>1034438

>already missed Waid literally stating he knew the publisher before making the call in this thread

>missed the other articles like the bleeding cool article https://archive.fo/19ol6 (which is funny enough in Waid's evidence) where he not only knew the publisher, but knew the owner's character

At this point, we are now moving away from "no business" and "no contacs" to "continuous and systemic business". Which still doesn't matter, Waid still picked up a phone, and called a Texas business, with a Texas phone number, to interfere with a Texas contract concerning Texans.

 No.1034602

>>1034449

I still don’t understand this argument

For what reason would Waid assume that Meyer is not in Texas when he was dealing with AP, a literally who San Antonio company. I can’t imagine that Meyer, if he was in New York, would pick this company for any reason. Waid must’ve known enough about AP to know they’re in Texas and should have made the assumption that Meyer is also in Texas.

>>1034602

They're parroting Waid's arguments from the dismissal. That yes, their opening volley in this case is that despite making convention, store appearances, that despite claiming to know the owner personally, Waid is the type of retard that doesn't know where is calling when he decides to interfere with a contract and that he knew nothing about AP. Wait for Meyer's team's response. At this point, it is Meyer's case to lose. And Waid lying about shit like having "no contacts" in Texas is only going to make it worse for him.

>Meyer, if he was in New York

He was in New York, but moved long before this shit kicked off. The weird thing is while his twitter may not have been updated, his Texas location was widely broadcasted. His IGG had it up for weeks, as well as the discussions about meeting up with Lim because that was when he was shopping for a publisher, or his literal videos complaining about the cars on his street. Or his videos out and about. Or his goodbye to New York.

>Did it look any good?

It looks alright. If it has any actual sin, is that both the art and what I can tell of the plot look pretty "generic". Neither good or bad, but will probably be pretty forgettable. Which also makes it hilarious why Mark Waid threw an autistic shitfit over it.

Cucks will tell you that literally anything written by a #COMICSGOOBERGATER is literally the worst thing ever, until the next thing written by a #COMICSGOOBERGATER comes out.
