Bad example. Bryan Singer hates comic books and didn't understand the appeal of costumes. That's why all the characters wear ugly leather suits. But yes they do at least have a plethora of X-men characters and bothered to include Sabertooth. Which no other movie has besides Origins.

Slightly better example but it's just a plain weird movie. Why is Daredevil sleeping in a water coffin? Black Kingpin is dumb, Electra is dumb, and Bullseye is just plain corny. This also has the problem of trying to take itself too seriously. So you have leather Daredevil.

First two are alright films that actually do a pretty good job for the time of recreating the core of what people liked about Spider-man. Now the third one is a bloated awkward mess. But I can't really fault any casting or costume choices for these movies. I think just a lack of direction for a lot of the characters is what held these movies back.

Terrible. Just terrible. Edward Norton is a fine actor but this movie was not good for his image. Also a terrible way to kind of start the MCU.

This one's problems are it being a little too dated, some costumes being a little too awkward, and Doom not being Doom enough. He has to be bigger and more theatrical. He's fucking DOOM.
Really none of these are great movies but a few of them at least sort of tried to be good movies. Now the MCU just feels too bland. Too safe. Like they realize they can just coast on the same formulas, jokes, and cheap CGI to keep making profits. While barely trying to recreate that same comic book feel or idea behind the characters. They both wanna reinvent everything but also keep everything the same. Confusing now that I type it but I'm sure you get what I mean.

Film was a victim of producer meddling. Most bad decisions can be traced to producers who demanded it, and an inexperienced director who could not wing against the studio and noticed his mistakes a little bit too late to correct them. Originally, film was supposed to be R rated, romance subplot was supposed to be less pronounced and cheesy, costume was supposed to be closer to the comics, and courtroom was supposed to play a bigger role. Director's cut was almost what the movie was intended to be.

I've been trying to remember some cartoons I used to watch as a kid. There's one I remember really liking, but unfortunately I can't remember the name or much about it. I'm about 90% sure it was a Western cartoon, so I thought I'd ask here.
There's only one episode I remember clearly. There was female villain who could make herself like a liquid. She tricked this guy into helping her steal something by promising she would give him the same abilities as her, but when he was given the serum that would supposedly give him the abilities he just ended up melting. As far as recall, this was either a multi-part episode or some kind of recurring character.
It would have aired on British TV at some point in the early to mid 2000s. I thought it was The Batman, but I've been watching that and it isn't it, though it must be from roughly the same time period. As far as I can tell it's not any of the other Batman cartoons either - it's definitely not Inque from Batman Beyond.
I know this isn't much to go on, but maybe someone can help?
