Some of the best world-building in comics, and a lot of sly references to 80's cartoons, most of the lost civilisations and ancient astronaut stuff they find are expies of Rainbow Brite, He-Man, Centurions, My Little Pony, etc.

Just be prepared for a mixture of confused silence and abuse whenever you bring it up, as it crosses the streams between western and manga, the same sin as Empowered and Spinnerette, PLUS it got branded as "Furry" in the 90's and never kicked the stigma.

Isn't the nigger who drew this, Fred Perry, exclusively doing porn now? I find it kind of funny. Honestly, his new style is so shiny, it's like reading that spacedrow porncomic over on /tg/.

It's pretty good, but one of the first major arcs is a crossover arc with Ninja High School, another rather obscure comic. That and the early not really being that great are it's only major flaws.

A good stepping-on point is the start of the colour issues. You can always explore backwards from that point if the early-instalment-weirdness or the 80's art style isn't too much for your jimmies.

Only for normies and those whose only knowledge of late 80's/early 90's comics is superficial at best. More obscure is that Eternity comics also had rights to NHS for several years.
