Sothis just showed up in Wikipedia's Random Bullshit/shill of the day box, and I took the bait, and when the bait said "Nina Paley" I swallowed the sinker.

I used to fucking love Nina Paley's comics, she was like a female Peter Bagge. I didn't know she had been animating, I thought she'd faded away to wherever underrated girl cartoonists go, like Skeleton Girl and Ippongi Bang.

Shes been working on the movie for a while now, released a new scene a while ago. From what I understood all those short films were intended to come together as a compilation in the end which would later become Seder-Masochism.

She gets bonus points from me because she refuses to pay for music licences and just pirates all the music she uses in the shorts out of principle.
