Nobody cares.

She was a decent enough character when she grew naturally from a major supporting role in the Avengers into her own series. They had managed to salvage the character fairly well and her weak motivation for coming back with a hero and more powerful than average marvel level made an interesting dynamic that was rife for character growth.

Then they decided to put her in that shitty costume, shove her down everyone's throats, and make her such an unlikable cunt that it retroactively justifies her getting dimension raped by her boyfriend/child and taken out of existence.

I was actually a fan of Mrs. Marvel back in the day. Owned her entire comeback when it was done by Cho. But the character is ruined, to the point I don't want to hear about her until she's revealed to be a skrull/mindcontrolled/cloned/ect and bring her back to when she wasn't so contemptible as a human being.

Fuck her and her nazi youth sidekick.

I liked what I read of old Ms Marvel, but the best thing I can say for Carol Danvers today is that at least she gave Rogue her secondary superpowers

Thank you anon, just got back from work to see the explanation was not only done for me, but done more succinctly than I could have done. That is, indeed, the thing I was referring to. A group of teens busting into a persons house with no warrant and no evidence to arrest someone who hadn't done anything. It didn't even try some basic 100 level philosophy of the subject involved. The only reason a supposed Super Hero felt bad about what she was doing was because it was to someone she knew, and it was completely dropped. As nothing has ever changed with the character since then, Mrs. Marvel is a super powered being that has absolutely no moral qualm with breaking into a persons house and taking them into custody on nothing more than a vague accusation. Not only that, but the prison these people were being sent to had no trial (if I'm remembering correctly that is).

I didn't pay much attention, but the idea that Carol had a team of teenagers going out and doing police work without training, oversight, or accountability, on top of the fact that they are fucking CHILDREN makes me consider this Captain Marvel a villain that should be taken down and thrown in prison.
