Do people actually read political cartoons? They're always hamfisted strawmen and I've never once heard someone express that one of them is humorous. They're all the same. Take a thing, put a label on the thing because fuck subtlety, use that thing to over exaggerate the other side. Do they realize they don't have to label everything? Take that one where Trump is about to carve up the eagle. Why is the eagle labeled? It would have worked better if it was just an eagle. It still wouldn't be funny, but it would at least be less muddled. The only time I've ever seen anyone pay attention to them are with Ben Garrison, and that was more in terms of making outrageous shops, rather than the actual cartoons themselves.

Old school political cartoons done in wood carving was fucking great. They couldn't make them by the boat load so they had to shit out the best of the best. Y'all should check them out when you have the chance. I don't have any with me at the moment.
