Which board is best?

c4aa8f  No.798

Both >>>/christian/ and >>>/christ/ think that censoring heresy is a job or a moderator. There is no way for that to not be arbitrary.

42a7d2  No.801

>>798

/christ/ doesn't ban for much of anything, just deletes if it's obviously offensive (like porn).

/christian/ bans for sneezing too loud.

Looking at the whole log, outside of that one cherry picked selection, /christ/ has way more [D]s than [B]s.

1d273c  No.809

This one is best but it's slow

But if Christian stops censoring I see no reason to leave there

4ceb19  No.811

>>807

This is true

/christ/ calls itself a church though, that's just not right

Can one expect a lifetime ban here for attached?

a05aed  No.820

>>819

The mods are commies that hate the truth. Tbh, I'm suprised they didn't ban me for posting the "Table Talk Fraud" picture in your defense.

Nice job there. Thanks. Whatever happened to tutor? He's the one that made the attached Hitler painting a banner.

a05aed  No.822

I dunno man. Tutor rarely posts in the meta. Maybe tutor just has a very hands off approach and lets the mods do all the work or lack therefore of

>/christ/ doesn't ban for much of anything

absolutely this. There is no limit to the amount of heresy that pwns that board.

But, when you're tired of receiving arbitrary permanent excommunications anything will do

So, you got b& for being an a-hole. What of it?

>>819

You're an obnoxious /pol/ troll, but no, I wouldn't have b& you, as such

This >>826 deserves a ban, but not you

I … th-th-think not

8f2269  No.886

>>>/christ/18556

BO made a thread asking the board. Now the Gnostic flag has been removed from the list.

cc958b  No.924

Are they really denominations? Can I post on all of them?

I'm currently trying to find the right denomination as is, I wouldn't know where to begin with picking an 8chan denomination?

That being said, the first thing I saw on /christ/ was a thread about magic. I do't know the issues with the other boards.

04d199  No.925

>>924

No, we're not denominations. These are just a couple imageboards with different sets of rules for posting. You can cross post.

433acb  No.940

>>924

Just don't cross post about here on /christian/ unless you want to get banned.

92cc2d  No.941

>>940

/christian/ doesn't like people talking about other boards.

b26c5a  No.942

>>940

Advertising is not cross posting. If all you're doing is advertising (like posting the standard "no censorship on /christianity/ crap), then you'll get banned.

8e5ce4  No.945

>>942

under what rule?

I've only posted it in response to someone else complaining about censorship. Isn't that a win-win? The undesirable poster stops complaining and just leaves, and more posters know about this.

b26c5a  No.946

>>945

Probably one of those "unwritten rules".

cc958b  No.947

>>924

Also they refer to themselves as a church, not sure what to think of that.

d5ee65  No.963

c95f70  No.2451

>>797

I think we can now safely say >>>/christianity/

85b695  No.2457

>>2451

As the lesser of three evils, yes.

/christian/ is a Catholic/Orthodox hugbox with overbearing moderation.

/oursaintoftheday/….I mean /christ/, is a dumpster fire of spam due to virtually non-existent moderation.

/christianity/ is a Protestant hugbox with more sensible moderation. (though Catholics and Orthodox are allowed, so the one denomination hugbox environment could theoretically change, but I honestly don't see many Catholics and Orthodox breaking away from their own comfy hugbox anytime soon, for obvious reasons.)

d9e80a  No.2458

>>2457

/christian/ is a strictly normie Cathodox safespace. I’m a Turbocat who speaks with saints and angels on the regular and my threads get banned from /christian/ within the hour. The worst /christianity/ has ever done to me is express concern.

536072  No.2459

>>2457

I think you mean the only non-evil

b966de  No.2468

>>797

>Which board is best?

I don't know, but I do know that /christian/ is the worst. It's controlled by catholic jannies that delete all valid criticism of catholicism. For instance, I posted this pic there (cardinal mccarrick with notorious pedophile and necrophiliac jimmy savile) and the post was deleted and I was banned for it

b966de  No.2469

>>798

and they think that heresy is any criticism of catholicism

b966de  No.2470

>>947

>Also they refer to themselves as a church, not sure what to think of that.

Any gathering of christians is a church.

92c101  No.2471

>>2470

not true. I'm gathered here at home with my family but we're not a church, and an imageboard isn't a gathering in the first place.

5b0e62  No.2474

>>2471

If you think there has to be some official structure or order for a church to exist, and for specific gatherings in certain times in specific places qualify as church then you've been conned into substituting men for God and you're missing out. You've made the existence of the church dependent upon men and not God. This is one of the errors that has corrupted the church

92cc2d  No.2476

>>2471

If you and your family were gathered to discuss Christ and have fellowship, then you would be a church. Matthew 18:20

>an imageboard isn't a gathering

According to the IRS, it is. All the BO has to do is file IRS Form 1023 and use the board link as the church address. The First Amendment prohibits the government from declaring what is and is not a "church".

92c101  No.2477

>>2474

You're conflating the local church with the universal.

>>2476

That's funny but I'm sure you know the IRS doesn't have a special theological role. The word ekklesia means assembly.

9cdbf7  No.2488

>>2457

>virtually non-existent moderation

Don't be silly anon, (((/christ/))) has only the strictest moderation for racism and anti-semitism

92cc2d  No.2496

>>2477

>the IRS doesn't have a special theological role

No, of course not, but according to the laws of the United States, a website can be a church. As for scriptural, there is nothing to show that a website cannot be a church/gathering. Scripture is very clear that there are three Churches - the Church Militant, the Church Penitent, and the Church Triumphant. The Churches Penitent and Triumphant aren't physical gatherings, but they are still Churches. Therefore, it can be argued that the internet is part of the Church Militant.

1d7773  No.2503

Those are extrabiblical terms that once again are speaking of the universal church. The point is that it's inappropriate for /Christ/ to consider itself a church in the local sense.

af4832  No.2507

>>2457

>non-existing moderation

/christ/ apparently got a new BO recently. If you look at those saint threads that actually have replies, you'll see that more than one conversation has posts that have gone missing without an explanation.

92cc2d  No.2517

Users can, and often do, delete their own posts. Can't always blame moderation.

That's an opinion.
