Greetings, fellow Christians. I have a question concerning my coworker, who is one of the first openly engaging Christians I have met. She constantly speaks about Jesus Christ and the glory of God. Other coworkers of course laugh and mock this woman. That's sad. However, she attends church way more than I do and I wanted to know if what she says is true.
For some backstory, I have always been a Christian. I was raised that way, brought up in a Lutheran school (the best years of my life) and was sent to Sunday school. I learned quite a bit about the bible, not that I could recite verses from memory as I was made to do back then.
This woman keeps saying that Satan has limits. That he cannot breach true believing Christians and throw their lives into disorder. We are "not his territory". But as you have just learned, I have been Christian my entire life. I have also dealt with a lot of life stress. Just plain struggling and dealing with furious bosses of jobs. True, those bosses went off more on other workers, but here's another point. I had a friend who was devoutly Christian. Life situations brought her down until she committed suicide.
I'm trying to figure out if what this preaching coworker says actually comes from somewhere, or is she satisfying herself with the delusion that Christians are immune to the devil's influence?
Is there any bible verse to back up what she's saying?
