Right, because the received word of God is not beholden to being in the majority of manuscripts in any language at any given time. It is however guaranteed to be preserved to every generation according to prophecy. Afterall, that "majority" can always change if "new" evidence is procured, while we know from fact that the immutable word of God doesn't change. So that kind of disproves the idea of relying on the majority as your final arbiter. So in particular, the majority text (rather, today's majority text) removes Acts 8:37 (entire verse), 1 John 5:7 and part of Revelation 21:24 (the part that says "which are saved").
That being said, the fact it is the majority type still argues generally in favor of the TR rather than the various conflicting eclectic "alexandrian" versions, which change even more things. The point is it hasn't changed at any time.
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. — Matthew 24:35
