They will accept you for sure, especially if you genuinely desire to turn your life toward Christ. I suppose with everything that has happened over there, they might be a little hesitant around strangers. If that is so I wouldn't hold it against them. Perhaps your best bet would be to contact a priest online and just have a conversation that way, so you do not risk alerting your family at first. Explain to the priest your situation and I am sure he would be welcoming in finding a way to overcome the hurdles.
