I'm not Catholic yet, But I'm trying to become one. I was attending mass at a local parish and trying to get in touch with the person in charge of the RCIA classes, and well nothing has happened in that avenue for over a month. I am slipping in my piety while I wait.

But, I've been in contact with a Catholic Byzantine Priest and I went to their Divine Liturgy. In truth, I prefer it. From the back and forthness from the Priest to the people and I've always Crossed from right to left as they do.

The Byzantine Father wanted me to come down to his Church and meet with me one on one and told me to just wait about attending any RC classes.

Should I pursue this? I feel like it calls to me but maybe that's because of my impatience with the RC parish. I need guidabce right now, please can any one give me their thoughts.

Also I do believe I have a Vocation in the Church, I do not know where it is yet as I'm still trying to discern my placement. But I'm lost right now.

The Uniates have no doctrinal differences from the RC.

Though I'm now Orthodox, I come from an Uniate.

Would you please tell me more about this transition for you? I am still strongly tempted by Orthodoxy, like a strong pull but it's not something I can intellectually justify in any shape or form.

I still attend my old Presbyterian church on occasion, the singing is fun.
