The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

How does one get saved? How does my fiance coming from an agnostic background get saved? She's trying but ut doesnt seem to come to her. I think she is having a hard time seeing God as a person… any personal recommendations or tips?

> think she is having a hard time seeing God as a person… any personal recommendations or tips?

Could you elaborate on that?

She is a new christian from her agnostic dad and she just has a hard time as seeing jesus as an actual person. She believes in God the Father easier than God the Son. She's trying to get saved

I thought you meant she had a hard time seeing God as a person at all, and rather that she views him as an impersonal/non-personal force. If she see's able to see God the Father as God the Father (i.e. a person as per father) then I don't see what the issue would be/doesn't seem to be related to the issue of seeing God as a person/persons and is rather something else. Sage for rambling and not contributing any solutions.

But you have to see jesus as the son of god to be saved?!

What's your point? Genuine question as it's not clear to me from your post. If it's the same as before - Like I said - if she can see God the Father as God the Father (i.e. a person) I personally cannot see why she would have difficulty viewing Jesus as God the Son (i.e. another person, adjacent to the first person she can already see/conceptualise/understand, in the triune Godhead)

Look, someone needs at least to be acquainted with Christian doctrine in order to be confused about the trinity. I don't think his gf is a patripassionist or a monarchianist. If someone's coming from a completely secular enviroment, being baffled about Christ being "actual person" is more likely to mean that they're baffled that there was some dude two thousand years ago turning water into wine and resurrecting the dead.
