The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

What does having a Theocentric view of the world mean, anyways?

I'm not sure if you folks experienced this, but I personally always heard form teachers and other positions that were full of political people about how the french revolution and the illuminati(As in that actual group years ago, not the meme) promoted ANTHROPOCENTRISM and that was very important because it was scientific unlike religion which promoted THEOCENTRISM which was EVIL.

Now this sounds like a bunch of hot air but I've been wondering lately, did Christendom really lose something back there?

Sounds like just secular humanist, atheist, materialist, and other types like that who glorify man. Theocentrism doesn't preclude science, we just have our entire end as God. In fact, all Christians should be "theocentric." Why get up in the morning? Prayer. Why study harder? To be prepared to learn deeper theology. Why organize your life around the office? It honors God. Not one step should be taken without it's ultimate end as God.

MURICA = ILLUMINATI

If we talk about general terms, both sides are important. Like Christ is fully God and fully Man, so is Christianity both Anthropocentric and Theocentric, excluding either is stupid and degrading.

With that being said, what you're talking about usually refers to the moral system, which must always be theocentric, because it's the only one that guarantees objectivity. Anthropocentrism in that case means that human himself decides morals for himself, which is degenerate and inconsistent.
