Not quite, Hindi legends legitimately do record a light skinned group known as the aryans who gave them the vedas. However, attempts to pin this to a specific group (generally Germans) have been tenuous at best. That being said, Hinduism plays a huge roll in western occultism and esoteric hitlerism, so I don’t think the op is far off (consider especially how the doctrine of the Kali Yuga has become common in /pol/ circles). Hinduism is a living tradition going back thousands of years.

Converting to Buddhism or Hinduism and taking it seriously definitely isn't larping for a westerner, the same way converting to christianity isn't larping for an indian or a muslim.

If Hinduism gathers a large enough following in the west, we are going to have a serious problem. Currently, Hinduism offers much that the RCC doesn't, and for that reason it's a rather alluring religion. Unless the RCC radically changes it's political direction, it's main rival might just become hinduism instead of Islam.

Quite a few of the very important religious figures in Hinduism are described as having white skin and light eyes.

The Buddha itself was described as having blue eyes.

The Aryans definitely migrated from the east towards the west and they had a dharmic belief system that has very strong paralels with european paganism.

The strongest and still living pagan tradition in Europe is in Lithuania, and their belief system is clearly related to that of Hinduism.

I meant to say is that there was a true hinduism problem in the west as a branch of the New Age movement in the 60's, messianic spiritual leaders were poping out one after another and hindu teachings were spread everywhere. People concidered Christianity pretty much dead back them. But today the New Age is dead and Christianity is having a comeback.

You must understand that people have "killed God" many times in the past but in the end God always prevails.

Yeah, that's rubbish. I know people who've lived in the sandbox and have become apostates left Christianity for Islam. When it comes to faith a lot of them are super lukewarm. You can find booze, porn, anime/hentai…WHATEVER. It's easy, just a little bit out of the way of the main areas you go to.

I think a lot of the stuff that is ascribed to them as "religious values" is just basic Arab reactions to the more immoral elements of Western culture, or Western nations interfering in their own affairs if they don't have that first issue normally. Really as far as the booze and porn goes, there's some that don't like the stuff, and noone likes getting bombed. But as far as most of them go…no problems. Remember a lot of Arab nations looked pretty Western in the early 20th Century. That trend could be EASILY reversed given the right circumstances.
