There is starting to be a concerted effort to promote sexual criminality as a societal good. It's been going on low burn for awhile, but the last two-three years have been on a rocket. Even five years ago children as gay personalities would have been too risky to promote, now it is in the open and if you argue against it some people get hostile.

Their double standards are owed to the fact that leftists don't believe in anything concrete. They're moral relativists and opportunists who don't really care what they complain about, they just use it as an excuse to remove their enemies out of power. That's pretty much it. Alinsky tactics are their bread and butter.

It's kind of why I disagree with the Atheists and pagans who claim that they can be moral without Christianity. I'm not saying that earth would immediately become a paradise from reading the Bible, I'm stating that having a concrete moral compass would prevent people from redefining morality to justify contradictory evil actions.

Plastic straws are unacceptable, but distributing needles to junkies isn't? Lying about children being shot should prevent you a platform, but molesting children should give you one? Antifa wants to punish lawabiding marcher for expressing offensive views, but they don't want law enforcement to punish criminals who break the law through shoplifting and assault?

I remember one woman who Al Gore had supposedly assaulted sexually didn't go forward for some time, this was about 10-20 years ago. She was weighing the action but a fellow traveler (also a woman) said that Gore's environmental stance was so important that it outweighed any rapes he performed.

This I think is the key mindset: one thinks a reprobate has a power in one area that is so strong, that any attempts to correct immoral behavior are waived because of their command of that area of secular doctrine. This also doesn't preclude other possibilities, like lying for power or supernatural influence or what-have-you. But it is key in many areas never-the-less.

However, I would suggest that destroying your own moral credibility would normally harm your cause on top of it. Certainly it would reflect badly on your soundness of mind. But then they did away with morality, in response to that. And then they act surprised when the next generation of their opposition is against them even more effectively than the previous one, free of several of their old ethical constraints.
