I'm in college 2 days a week to become a barber. How do I live the catholic lifestyle in my bedroom? Right now I am lazy and spend all my time on chans and youtube and sometimes gym. I don't feel as close to christ as i should have. I go church every sunday but I'm currently in mortal sin as i haven't confessed about missing church one time yet (I haven't been taking the eucharist for like 2 months.).

Tried getting a job but competition here is high (live in the UK) plus my cv have a lot of gaps. There is a qt3.14 in my class but i feel unworthy to be a husband yet

Help me please christ anons. I'm stressing. I already plan on studying hard.

Instead of spending so much of your time on chans and YouTube, pray or read the Bible. Going to the gym is good, as long as you're not doing it to be vain and do it to keep your temple of the Holy Spirit in good shape. I'd suggest trying to talk to that qt in your class, you may not feel like you're husband material right now but you're not proposing yet. If it's to be, God will give you the resolve to do what must be done.

go to daily mass, go to confession after or before (just ask the priest) alter serve, help out and do charity through your church, teach faith formation if too awkward for that then read a lot and pray a lot. recite the rosary, do the angelus, pray the liturgy of the hours, do a nightly examinem, read the bible, learn the saints,catechesis, church history,etc.

First off, please, please just confess! Give total trust to your priest. Separation from the Eucharist is separation from Christ. Do not let your fear overcome but make wide bold steps.

I suggest with the time you have to at least do some light charity work. It’s really terrible to let people suffer when you could somehow help them and get to know them. Anything that makes you more a part of this world and a good part at that is what is best.

Please trust yourself above all. Don’t struggle with this inner guilt crap, just strive higher and higher for the right thing and let nothing stand in your way. The only on who can forgive you is Christ so all your self-reflective worries are in vain because you do no have that power. Leave that to the church and strive forward with a pure heart.

Way to go on going back to college! Be the best barber you can be, anon. Trust me if you're good at that class and take a genuine interest in it, girls get attracted to that kind of thing. Indicates someone has potential.

Gym is good, maybe be sure and get outside a few mintues a day too. If you can afford it a dog is great way to combat laziness. You can get a low-maintenance little one that is cheaper and will probably only require a 20 minute walk a day or you can go full hard mode (be prepared for your life to revolve around your dog if you do this) and get an intelligent, high energy breed. They'll require an hour walk and probably another hour of training/play/interaction a day.

If not maybe some plants to take care of.

It's nice knowing something needs you. Also help w/ chores around your house. Make a goal of doing one chore a day on days you don't have college. Dishes take like five minutes.

Less chan. More scripture study, regular prayer. Challenge your laziness by working out or finding a new hobby. Check out /SIG/ thread for books to read.Find the spirit of an overcomer in yourself.
