The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

I notice they're all opinion pieces. Maybe you should notice that too and stop taking Op/Ed as "God's Gospel Truth".

This post is so sad and pathetic. You don't notice that they're mostly articles written by females defending anti-tradition, transgenderism, females in priesthood and so on? On a major catholic publication? I understand you're lying because you can't help it, it's like a reflex, but don't bullshit yourself.

Sure would be nice if there were less New Ways Ministry rejects out there…

A priest should respect tradition and wear priestly clothes like all fathers did before him.

>cloistered nuns are adapting

It's completely up to them if they want to be in complete hermitage or just in a monastery. Everything else is untraditional. Working is permitted if it's important work. There's a surgeon monk where I live.

>Transgender and Catholic

I don't judge them but it's a grave sin to be transgender. And to refuse to repent of it and actually transition is a sin against the Holy Spirit, who wants you to repent.

>Deaconesses

I defend this. Absolutely nothing wrong with it. Although I prefer nuns to be deaconesses. It's traditionally been this way until like the middle ages.

Protestants were right about catholics however the way they went about it was horrible. They should have converted over to orthodoxy rather than the shitfest we have now.

Nah, the reason behind this tangential practices apart from the gospel are artificial traditions shoved in as necessary methods of salvation, which is not true grace.

Whenever protholics proclaim gotcha upon each other, it's usually over a tradition that fell through the loop, from there it's just becomes a tradition measuring contest. But if anyone thinks that EO isn't susceptible to this, than they haven't studied on primary sources in Church history (looking forward to the present).

I get where you are coming from. However it is clear that Catholics are much easier to manipulate. Mainly due to the Pope. This is what makes orthodoxy more efficient. Since there is no pope it makes it harder to corrupt. Since there isn't a head in the orthodox church it makes it more difficult to subvert.

>Protestants were right about Catholics

It's every denomination that corrupted members bringing terrible practices, Catholics were unfortunately right about protestants as well.

you can just reject the dialectic and affirm that there are biblicist traditions predating the roman catholic church without hanging your hat on misinterpreted verses.

if i reject the dialectic and the assumptions in what youre saying, i can accept that you can have a correct assessment of the roman catholic church without defaulting to your unsubstantiated declaration of the only possible alternative.
