Hello friends I have an opportunity to volunteer in my church's Sunday school program. Problem being I have no idea how to relate religion to children. I myself am an adult convert, and lived the majority of my life non-religious, my parents never involved me in any religious activities either. Does anyone have experience or resources involving children's education?

They were assuring me it would be fine and they have training available but you are probably right, I have no experience teaching at all.

Everyone has to learn somewhere right? OP hasn't told us exactly what sort of position he'd be volunteering for anyway.

Teaching small children (ages 5-10) about a variety of different topics in a class setting, as part of a team. I don't have all the details and haven't seen the curriculum yet but it'd basically be leading a class for an hour or so in a similar way as you see in a regular public school, except there's 2 teachers per class.
