Well the only ones massacring the natives were the Protties, mainly because they were of the Calvinist kind and believed that underdeveloped peoples were not chosen by God, so they could just annihilate them. Catholics on the other hand mixed with the natives, that's why for example Mexico is so mixed today (you have whites, mayans, lots of mestizos etc). They also gave the natives a lot of rights. Only God can tell if I will held accountable, not you. I didn't say Christians, I specifically said Catholics respected human dignity way more. Look for statements from Queen Isabel from Spain or the many laws they did to protect the natives. Of course I already know many of them died from diseases. But at the end of the day North American Indians are in reservations and South American ones are fully part of society.
