But I will say that GOING to college has become idolatrous, for both men and women. Do you have something you desperately want to learn more about, and you have a plan to use it to pay off the debt, or are you just going because you feel you should? Aeronautical maintenance, welding, and maritime engineering pay well, and a few semesters at your local community college will get you credentialed. College and career are vocations to be discerned - just going and taking on debt is not a good plan. Are you going for your ministry or your pride?

I will say this about children, there's a quote: "The future belongs to those who show up." If we don't love creation enough to want to bring others into it, why are we bothering? Do we love ourselves so much we won't even create new life? Also idolatry.

Purity culture has good elements but can also be idolatrous. Purity is an intent and mindset - a single mother isn't 'impure,' her sins may be just more public than some of ours. If she's putting her butt in the pew and living the faith, she's pure.

I don't think all the inferences she makes are accurate, the fact that "Men Prefer Debt-Free Virgins Without Tattoos" doesn't mean that these women who previously were engaged in the opposite are not able to be forgiven by God, but it also doesn't change the fact that yes, most men are likely to prefer those kinds of women, innocence and purity are always going to be appealing, whether to a righteous person to enjoy or a wicked person to defile. We are to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling. I for one enjoy women who are emotionally troubled with daddy issues blah blah blah, but you could say that is a problem of my own due to my own upbringing (rather than some sort of honourable heroic act) and even if that was my intention to do so, it would just be an exercise in ego.

I've been a long time subscriber to her channel and normally her content is alright, but this video was too much and made me consider unsubbing tbh.

Easier said than done, I to this day fell a deep anger inside me whenever people disagrees with me.

I've had good exposure to debates so I have reduced its intensity due to controlling my passions as a whole with prayer and fasting.

But it is a very common passion, I really can't imagine the common child or woman being able to control themselves to a good degree.

You receive forgiveness by "living a life of repentance", so you cannot receive it overnight. The "forgive overnight", and "be saved overnight" doctrines are results of Western so called Christianity, Catholic and Protestant alike.
