How do you know what you're put on this Earth for? I was born with a condition that leaves me permanently sterile, but all I've ever wanted was to start a family of my own. I want kids but can't have any. Finding a girl who likes kids but doesn't want to conceive any would be very challenging. We could adopt I guess but it's not the same. I can only assume God never wanted me to have any, so what am I supposed to do with my life?

Spoken like someone who has never adopted, been adopted, or known anyone who has/is adopted.

There are millions of kids in the world who need loving homes. You've been given the wonderful opportunity to provide one.

It's true I don't know what it's like. I've known adopted kids in high school and they were not very happy. I don't believe in /pol/'s dumb "adopting is cucking" meme but it's not outlandish to suggest kids will always be partial to their biological parents.
