I believe many conservative Christians, and even the less naive ones (like ones who might find themselves on 8chan) have silly ideas about this.
I'll start by saying that obviously any Christian should know that abortion is evil, it's killing literally the most defenseless and materially innocent people in the world. It's a callous and soul destroying thing for a mother to do at worst and a horrible thing to inflict upon a stupid or credulous mother at best, it's destructive and diabolical for all parties involved. I'm totally ashamed that there was a time where I thought differently. That being said, roe v. wade will not be overturned any time soon, and I'm not terribly broken up about that, since the groundwork is being laid, and Trump is too smart to expend political capital on something that at best will have marginal impact.
Imagine this scenario, Trump expends all of his political capital on this, inciting an incredible media shitstorm. Most likely scenario- the ruling is sidestepped or contravened at the state level and it's still largely legal in the U.S. while america first withers on the vine. Best case scenario - abortion is illegal for the two election cycles it takes for America first to die and for demographic change to make the democrat (or cuckservative) majority unassailable, at which point the dems pack the court, overturn the overturning, and just generally crank the state-enforced poz to 11 because they'll be able to legally get away with basically whatever the winnie the pooh they want.
We should stop wishing for a magic bullet that will instantaneously re-instill morals and faith into an irreligious and amoral people, clownworld wasn't assembled by one court ruling, it won't be disassembled by one.

Not really true, Roe V. Wade not being easy to get rid of is a function of moral apathy and legal/political inertia (courts in general hate making sweeping rulings and overturning precedent) plus shitlib media outrage, it's not an expression of popular support. If it were a referendum rather than a ruling, just like fag "marriage", I doubt it could survive.

This. This is just the first few cracks and trickles of water, once the dam begins to break there will be no stopping it. It proceeds painfully slow until it's terrifyingly fast.
