The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

So i was having a conversation with my cousin ( non denom christian ) and my friend ( catholic ), about culture and religion. My cousin said that if i said to a muslim that my religion was right and his was wrong, i was being an religious bigot, because we didn't know if our religiom was right. And my friend agreed with him! Like seriously, he claims to be a Christian and believe in the same religion as i do, but he doens't think that muslims are wrong and that our faith is just like any other faith? Then again , i wasn't really surprised, as he also really had trouble accepting the idea of missionaries, seeing that they "Presented people to christianity when the indigenous peoples already had their culture/religion". But it gets worse, like really worse.

Cont.

Alright, so he also said the absolute morals didn't exist, i of course, disagreed with him and said that there was an absolute good and wrong that all people must follow, but he said that we should respect other people's laws and customs, no matter what. I even pointed at human sacrifices and honor killings in the middle east. He said that he personally didn't agree with the practices, but he wouldn't stop them if he could. Absolutely disgusting! The complete apathy to other human's suffering, i was frankly disgusted. I'm 16, theyre a little younger than me, but they're seem to be completely cucked already.

Sorry for the rant, i just needed to vent.

Just an example of your average modernist "Christian" I'm afraid. The best you can do is to try and steer him in the right direction; if he obviously won't be swayed it might be best to seperate yourself from him as much as possible so you don't get infected with his disease. This sort of garbage "feel good" worldview can be extremely contagious.

>so he also said the absolute morals didn't exist

So he's a nominalist satanist by the most basic definition.

Our "Catholic" friend isn't a Catholic.

Catholics believe in Extra Ecclesiam Nulla Salus which means outside the church there's no salvation. Every prot every Muslim or member of the other satanic religions are going to hell (unless by imvencible ignorance they could never know there the church existed, and wished to know the True God and lived according to the natural law, so belonging to the Church without knowing, which in modern days its no excuse since there's winnie the pooh Internet.)

Your definition of invincible ignorance is far too narrow. If they know what the Catholic Church is, but genuinely and not negligently believe that its claims aren't true, they too can be said to be in state of invincible ignorance.

Is that really true? I thought that we can't really know whether or not someone will go to hell since ultimately, it's God's decision and that it's blasphemous to presume you know God's Judgement.
