>The Lord’s prayer would be abolished from the start of Senate sittings and replaced by a statement that includes religious and non-religious beliefs, under a push instigated by the Greens.

>The move is supported in a letter signed by progressive religious leaders including Fr Rod Bower, of the Anglican parish of Gosford, the reverend Margaret Mayman, of Pitt St Uniting church, and rabbi Jeffrey Kamins of the Temple Emanuel at Woollahra.

>The letter was signed by the Tibetan Buddhist Society of Canberra, the Lebanese Muslim Association at Lakemba and the Quakers at Surry Hills

>also support arcane pagan Aboriginal ceremonies because :^) they're the original inhabitants you see

The two are incomparable, I'm just highlighting the doublethink of seculars

Obviously I believe Parliament should operate in accordance with the Liturgy of the Hours, but let's be realistic

I'm not sure which surprises me more: that a Senate in the modern degenerate West still prays the Lord's prayer before officially convening, or that the enemies of God have taken this long to react to it.

What doesn't surprise me is that the Anglicans and Jews are part of this.

The opening paragraph of the Australian Constitution:

>Whereas the people of New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Queensland, and Tasmania, humbly relying on the blessing of Almighty God, have agreed to unite in one indissoluble Federal Commonwealth under the Crown of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, and under the Constitution hereby established

>humbly relying on the blessing of Almighty God

>Communists, protestants, and a Rabbi are conspiring against the faith

>same as it ever was, same as it ever was…

The separation of church and state was catastrophic for the protection of the dignity and rights of the masses.
