What's the relationship between Protestantism and secularism? Is there any? Are Protestants more likely to support secularism because of historical mistreatment by Catholic governments?

Protestantism leads to atheism because protestants (at least the largest margin of them) embrace secularism.

There is a link.

What Protestantism does is lead to relativisim (Calvin and Luther to start). These further and further branch out and now you have many diffrent interpations of the same Bible.

Modernism is one of the fruits of this, where people can take things as a metaphor and enventually take the entire bible as a metaphor and take the stance that God doesn't exist.

This is the 21st century. No Northern European country has a state religion. They’re all secular.

At end of the seven years war, Protestants and Papists agreed upon a truce, which resulted into two things; neutral government's with mixed populations ultimately became "secular" (not necessarily unchristian) states and states that weren't neutral fought through economic completion between other countries.

How the """"""holy roman empire"""" because "secular" (AKA ungodly) like today is due to the rise of social pressures, financial increase, atheistic philosophy, the sexual revolution, and so on.

The Reformers/traditional Papists didn't want secularism, the nominal "Christians" did and still do.

>They’re all secular.

Secular is a religion, it's based on beliefs about climate change and tabula rasa egalitarianism

Butchered Trinity has little way to interact with the world + nominalism.
