>Independent Baptists are obsessed over a particular Bible version so much so that they consider it inspired and consider any other version, even if it's equally as good as the KJV, to be blasphemous and not true Bibles.
Not all Independent Baptists, desu, especially if you are just referring to Baptists that are unaffiliated with a denomination. Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary is even a prominent Independent Baptist seminary that took a stand against KJVOism.
KJVO Baptists seem to be some of the most outspoken on the web, though. While three Baptist churches in town are involved in the community, an IFB church really keeps to itself and has literally no presence, except for the pastor who must spend his entire day on KJVO forums/Facebook. I found his account and it was quite hilarious/pitiful. I haven't seen him once at the nursing home or hospital, nor anyone who had.
