this question is a bit oxymoronic. Prayer IS talking with God. So when you "talk" (with words or thoughts) with Jesus, this means that you are praying.

As the other lad said, it doesn't matter about your physical posture or position.

When you lift up your heart and mind to God, you're praying. Sometimes it doesn't even need to be a dialogue pe say.

For example, sometimes it can just be a moment of silence when you feel God's presence and guidance, and in that moment, as long as you're acting in reverence towards God's will, you're technically praying.
