All I know about them is that they run a lot of schools. What does /christian/ think about the Society of Jesus?

They're a priestly order that emphasizes education.

The bible itself talks about conspiracy.

Man, they were conceived as being so from the very outset. They pledged, on top of the three typical evangelical counsels (poverty, obedience and chastity) to follow a fourth, unique counsel which consisted of utter obeisance to the Holy See, which meant that they should be prepared to go on mission to the ends of the earth at a moment's notice.

St Ignatius himself was a soldier, and he designed his Society to be pretty much a military order using the Word of God rather than human weapons.

Take your revisionism elsewhere.

They're pozzed.

They are essentially the Catholic version of what Freemasons are to Atheists and Agnostics.

They were started by Ignacious the cryto-jew who was a (((Maranno))), that is 'Jews' (let's STOP calling them 'Jews' as they are greedy liars that deny that Christ is lord and therefor not Jews) that "converted" to avoid persecution. That's why you can't convert people by the sword, (((they))) used that as a vector to infiltrate Catholicism.

Source - your ass.

>That's why you can't convert people by the sword, (((they))) used that as a vector to infiltrate Catholicism.

No, you can't convert people by the sword because it renders the baptismal vows irrelevant if you force someone to swear them and they don't actually mean them.

This is why St Alcuin gave Charlemagne grief after his forced conversion of the Saxons (being I believe the first major incident of its kind in history), and warned him not to do it again with the pagan Avars in his later conquest of their lands.

(((They))) only got liberated after the reformation when Prots decided that it was better to live with religious pluralism than Popish authoritarianism.

LARPers please go away.

I can't decide if it is outright lying, or just twisting the truth.

Most of those nations and cities are either protestant, pagan or Orthodox, now or at that time (e.g. they would have been kicked out of Bordeaux by the Huguenots, and then later out of France, Belgium, Savoy etc. by revolutionary liberals or Napoleon-sympathisers, kicked out of Poland after the Russian occupation etc.). Other places like Malta were owned by Sicily, a Portuguese ally,

The reason they were also kicked out of the Catholic nations of the new world is because refused to allow the imperial governments (especially of Spain and Portugal) or their enforcers to enslave the local population.

Think also about just why they might have been kicked out of so many nations and cities in 1848.
