>What is the most effective model of prayer?

Like the one of a little boy or girl. With purity of intention and innocence.

Do you agree?

The only right answer is the Lord's Prayer. Why would you choose ANYTHING over the prayer authored by God Himself ?

411ba5 No.637789

>there are multiple prayers in the bible other than the Lord's prayer

>The bible authored by God himself, and all virtue comes form him

>Therefore every prayer in the bible is authored by God himself

[Lord Jesus Christ] confession of the Logos as secondary to the Father, automatically Trinitarian, and acknowledging one Lord and one God. Personally directing prayer to the sole Savior and none other, intimately calling to Him.

[Son of the living God/Son of God] Confession again of the relationship of the Father and the Logos, inherently Trinitarian and confessional. Acknowledges one true living God, the Father.

[have mercy on me] acknowledges sole ability of the Son to have mercy and to save, recognizes self as created being that requires mercy for redemption, and failings for mercy to be had. Also acknowledges mercy to be had post-resurrection. Not to mention acknowledging mercy as the only thing you need above all others, and your strength is in the mercy had by the Lord.

[a sinner] acknowledges state, inherently confesses entire Gospel message in one statement of condition and action, and really your whole being. You exist so you sin. You are defined as a sinner. But welcomes mercy to be had as the Lord is a compassionate one, and compassion and mercy will be had.

[amen.] It will be.

Definitely the best prayer.

>What is the most effective model of prayer?

matthew 6:5-8

>And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

>But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

>But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

>Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matthew_6:7

>This verse is not generally seen as a condemnation of repetitive prayer. Jesus himself repeats prayers, such as at Matthew 26:44, and in two verses he gives a prayer to be repeated. Rather this verse is read as a condemnation of rote prayer without understanding of why one is praying. Protestants such as Martin Luther have used this verse to attack Catholic prayer practices such as the use of rosaries.[5]

Meditative prayer on the Lord's prayer.

I did it once after looking for a robber to stab him. I simply couldn't end the Lord's prayer.
