I love small group bible discussions and lessons but find church an absolute drag.

I would love it if church was simply done in groups of 4 to 6. More personal and deeper interaction imo.

The Bible is personal and deep interaction with God. A king wrote you a letter, aren't you excited to read it?

And unless you're a Pentecostal snake-handler or something, your liturgy is going to be mostly Bible stuff. Pay more attention, my friend!

Also, liturgy isn't there to study the Bible. It's there primarily to worship God. Catechesis that's part of it is an inevitable bonus so to speak.

But now I realize we might not have the same experience.
