>If it happens that the Roman Pontiff resigns his office, it is required for validity that the resignation is made freely and properly manifested but not that it is accepted by anyone.
I understand there's laws and such, but we don't really know what's happening behind the scenes and as to why Pope Benedict really resigned. Anyways, I'm not going to go into rumors and fables, but just wanted to throw this out there given the recent controversy of the current Pope.
>Do yourself a favor and look how those prophetic names were written.
Not sure why you're trying to diss Saint Malachy, you do realize he's been venerated, and I don't know why Wikipedia claims it's a forgery when the prophecies are obviously being fulfilled right before our eyes: http://www.catholic-pages.com/grabbag/malachy.asp
Reason why I bring this up is if we were to line up St. Malachy's prophecies to current events, then it would make sense that Pope Francis is not really a true Pope, and that we still have one more to go and we don't know who that is. I think many of us following the Prophecy of the Popes have been scratching our heads over Pope Francis being "Petreus Romaus" but given this information that really puts things into perspective. Now of course through petition and prayer we can ask God to change the course, but it's interesting to see the way things are.
