What about the heresies which spawned because of wrong interpretations of certain passages or ideas in the Bible? I understand the point you are making, I’m just playing the role of Devil’s advocate.

Difference is that, that with comes Magisterium. More did not left "utopian magisterium" - it's free for all. Not to mention that idea that Bible, one of the most precious thing on earth, can be possed by those without solid theological background is horrendous

Beside, Utopia itself is written like it's geniue but compared to More own teaching and stance of Church it seems like bitter satire.
