Take some time each day to read the Bible or even start to pray (the rosary is a great place to start!), this will not only keep you occupied and away from sin, but also allow your relationship with God to grow.

My wife is six months pregnant. I work full time and she will be in school for two days a week for a semester post baby arrival. We were trying to find someone to watch our baby for those two days. (No day cares)

He volunteered to watch the baby, I told him no. i wasn't going to elaborate on why but he pressed it, so I straight up told him that I do not trust him alone with our kid. He is very offended now.

Thanks OP. I really don't think he would do anything horrible to our child, but the significant number of homosexials and crossdresser that intersect with molestations really bothers me. He seems to have no understanding of any kind social customs in the first place (doesn't pick up after himself, no job, shamelessly asks for cigarettes, chain smokes at family meals woth children and pregnant women right beside him, wears see through clothes). That's not an example I want set. It's a liffe of perversion and greed to me. We had similar difficult childhoods, but I was able to overcome these things and for some reason he hasn't been.
