Hi folks,

Orthodox (a heretic for some of you high/mighty) here.

I've decided to take a bride of a Chinese couch-Buddist heritage. She's a good woman/person and certainly deserves a few kids, even though they may risk becoming another Supreme Gentleman. I've taught her to despise nigger/darkies which may help along the way, but the problem stands in the Bhuddist core philosophy. I don't want our kids to "decide for themselves" (uneducated minds and government institutions don't mix). My family just want me to be happy; her family just want her to get the citizenship (purely political stuff going on). So what do you anons think?

Well, matter of fact is, canonically speaking, you can only get married to an Orthodox woman. Today, most bishops will relax the rules and give a dispensation to marry a validly baptized Christian. Furthermore, you must take the vow to raise your children to be Orthodox.

This is just a piece of advice from a fellow brother in Christ: you may want to study your own religion further, and to guide your girlfriend to the Church, if you wish to marry her.

Don't even think about getting her baptized overnight at some random Protestant church. She's not a Christian yet, so you have no excuses not to teach her the Orthodox faith instead.

Of cours, she would need to go through a year of catechumenate…

Honestly, you sound like you're just memeing around.

You're not allowed to marry a non-Christian, and even then, marrying a non-Orthodox woman is a concession.

Consult your priest on this and get her opinions. Additionally, you should discuss your attitudes on race with him.
