Man, i don't get it. Moses making a bronze snake that has magical powers, this story is the weirdest one in the entire bible. Not only because of the snake (like in eden) but also that it can literally heals from poison. What is going on here? What did God mean by this?

>bronze snake that has magical powers

The snake had no power.

Obedience to God healed the Israelites. It's also a foreshadowing of Christ.

John 3:14

>And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

So why a snake and not a dove or a lamb?

2 Corinthians 6:21

>For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

why was it a snake? why not just a bronze whatever? or looking at the sky? is there an reason behind this thats not directly conceivable?

I believe it's explicitly because that snake represented sin, and the sin of the whole camp (who were bitten by snakes)

We humans were bitten by sin, and Jesus was made sin for us, so that we could take on His righteousness. 2 Cor. 6:21.

Fantastic question anon. Most Christians haven't even heard of this - or considered why, if we typically associate the Devil with the Serpent, this obvious foreshadowing of Christ has a Serpent in his place.

Staff of Hermes. Kundalini. How the Fall really worked. There's a whole rabbit hole waiting for you anon. It's a heavy discernment area - brushes up against a lot of dangerous heresies, and almost occultist concepts, and requires research into the other religions of the era to really see. But it'll unlock a new level of understanding for you.

The serpent symbolism in the Bible is complicated - as with everything. In our degenerate times people stop at "Serpent = Satan". It's closer to representing the primeval life principle - and that's not uncommon across all religions (similar to how breathe is always connected to the spirit). Sadly, it was corrupted, and we're tempted by the serpent to this day.

Another mystery for you to ponder: In Genesis 1, the words we see in English translated as "Formless and Void" are in ancient Hebrew "Tohuwabohu" - and related more closely related to the concept of primal Chaos, represented by Tiamet of the Phonecians. Tohu is a direct etymological reference in fact. And Tiamet is a great Dragon, a Serpent of the Ocean. So ponder that too - the formless Deep that God formed is also related to the Serpent. What might that mean?

Ya know when Paul there was milk for babes and meat for strong men? This whole concept is part of that Op. Just make sure you've gotten everything you can out of the milk first - like I say this is a pretty dangerous territory for anyone not VERY secure in their faith and relationship with God.

The cross isn't repulsive to you, but it was to a lot of people. Imagine being shown an inmate in a orange jumpsuit, underneath a straight jacket, in solitary confinement. Imagine being told this is the Savior of Mankind. Someone who appeared to be the worst of criminals. This is probably what it felt like for those who had to look at the bronze serpent to be spared from perishing from the venom of the bites. For me, I had to look at what I thought was a push over on a cross. I didn't understand that the crucifixion wasn't a display of pacifism, but a vulgar display of mercy. Mankind is hard headed. God demonstrates the same thing over and over again. Adam and Eve's fig leaves did not suffice to cover up their shame. God had to shed blood, and thus the first coats of fur were fashioned.

I always interpreted it as the snake representing sin, and the people gazing at it represented them acknowledging/confessing their sins which guides them to salvation.
