I'm missing church for the second week in a row because I have been ill, tired, or have too much school work. It has been 3 weeks total because of weather the first time. I'm worried that I'm deluding myself and these are empty excuses and I am becoming more concerned about worldly things and losing my drive for Christ. One of my concerns about going to church aside from my health is that church often runs 3 hours. I will be praying by myself tonight to apologize and give worship.

Divine Liturgy can take awhile, even more so if there are other things that need to be done before the service ends, like memorials, special prayers on certain days, blessings, etc.
