John 10:22-23 says Jesus came to Jerusalem for the Feast of Dedication, which is Hannukah.

The whole miracle of the menorah staying lit for eight days isn't even in Maccabees (and Maccabees isn't even in their canon), it's just a story the rabbis made up.

Hanukkah is a thing only because we received Maccabees as Scripture and always celebrated Maccabeean saints. But rededication of Temple, this festival of Light, was fulfilled in Christ, Light of the world and in restoration of Temple of his Body.

As for whole Menorah candels deal - it's probably fake as fuck. Festival lasted eight days not because of miraculous oil (that is part of another Maccabeean story) but it can be used to show that Christ is true Light of the word so w/e
