It was a real supernatural event but probably of infernal rather than heavenly origin.

Then, say infra-natural event.

Now will you guys finally accept presuppositionalism?

I have discomfort with high levels of Marian devotion. Theotokos is good, sound, correct and necessary, Mediatrix puts my teeth on edge.

supernatural this, infra natural that. "Nature" is an Enlightenment buzzword created anti-Christian philosophers to explain away miracles and other spiritual realities. Fatima comes from a nature, just not a physical or heavenly one.

>>611444

Say, extraterrestrial. I know that means space aliens to many people, but literally it applies.

>>611466

How about "of a demonic nature"?

>>611468

One step ahead of you bro.

This tbh.

For all the "evidence-requesters" BTFO that goes on in Christian forums, there's an awfully small amount of the cited evidence ever being posted.

People thought Jesus' miracles were mass hysteria and trickery even when done before them. Can't win them all over.

>>611438

I have the same opinion about UFOs. 99% of them have an explanation, or are frauds.

Still, there are the 0.1% that don't have an explanation. And even if only one of one million is real, then that changes everything. But it's still a matter of faith desu.

>presuppositionalism

No idea what you're trying to say

I could take your post to mean that you're asserting that cathbros are presupposing that Mary makes pretty lights in the sky and that therefore this was an example of that miracle.

I could also likewise take you to be saying that presupposition is behind the protestant doubters, that because we refuse to bestow co-redemptrix and mediatrix superpowers on Mary, we therefore presuppose the impossibility of any miracle should could be responsible for and therefore no amount of photographic or other evidence will convince us.

Finally, you could be a fedora mocking the very basis of miracles as presupposition on the part of believers, and that therefore the whole notion is eminently mockable. However, this guy >>611524 doesn't apparently believe that's what you're saying.

Postscript-ally, you could be rah-rah-ing for presuppositional apologetics, but that would only be confusing since that neither supports nor rejects the notion of some miracle at some place.

If you had a point, it is not fully explained by attaching that video.

>>611524

Good and relevant (for the OP) video

(((sociologists)))

>Erich Goode is an American sociologist specializing in the sociology of deviance.

>Goode received a B.A. from Oberlin College (1960) and a Ph.D. in sociology from Columbia University (1966). He has taught at Columbia University, New York University, Florida Atlantic University, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel.

This kike literally specializes in "deviance."

2a7c67 No.611664

You're probably right, though Hebrew University of Jerusalem threw me off. The other sociologist is by all indications a Gentile, but he looks like he may be jewish. In any case, Jewish or not, they are serving satan and the jews.

>the devil ending the religious conflict in Egypt at the time

>the devil healing people

It sure is an elaborate ruse.

84e676 No.611788

>The devil can't make short-term compromises for long-term gain

adbfe2 No.611793

>>611788

>gain

>muslims converting to Christanity

>Apostolic Christians strengthening their faith

Boy it sure is a gain. To consider the Copts, whose Church was established by st. Mark, such vile heretics that the devil actually supports them and wants to convert everyone to their false religion is beyond ridiculous, sad and pitiful. I'm sure pastor Leroy knows more about Christanity than the Egyptians who are one of the oldest Christians along with Syrians.

42a29b No.611813

It was witnessed by a lot of people and photographed by multiple. I guess you could say that the apparition itself is a projection or something, but the photos are not doctored

suggesting the it was the devil in disguise is dumb but the question of why would the virgin mary intervene in egyptian affairs, but not in any other nations' affairs, remains

6682ab No.611849

>>611831

>>611771

Putting aside this one instance for a minute, elaborate ruses are satan's calling card.

>John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

And evil appearing as good is his trademark

>2 Cor. 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

Furthermore, Matthew 24 and 2 Thessalonians 2 tell us to guard against lying signs and wonders.

I don't think it's foolish to think that evil would masquerade as light to deceive and to draw away from God.

4665f4 No.611857

>>611771

Excuse me if I may intervene

>the devil healing people

What WOULD the devil do? Hurl hellfire? He was originally a angel at the beginning.
